There are two types of Item Master in ERP system:
Definition: Item that needs to inventory control, Tangible Items
Example:
Food / Kitchen Consumption (Meat, Fruit, Tissue...)
Hotel Consumption ( House Keeping, POMEC...)
Construction Materials (Tiles, Concrete...)
Enter Inventory ID (10 digits)
Description of the Inventory
Select Item Class (select most suitable class)
System will populate default value for fields in green based on selected Item Class
Maintain UoM
System take Base Unit to perform physical inventory count. Please contact physical inventory owner first!
If you have different UOM, please maintain UOM conversion
Save
Definition1: Service, Intangible Items
Example: Cleaning Services, Repairing Services, Delivery Fee, Rental, Water, Electricity, Construction Subcontract
Definition 2: Fixed Assets that usually put in use upon receive
Example: Vehicle, Buildings
Enter Stock ID (10 digits)
Description of the None-Stock Item
Posting Class: select the one that fit the most
Close PO Line: Always select "By Amount"
Save
After saving the item master
Please inform Finance Team to confirm tax and account configuration.
For Finance Team
Tax Category:
TAXABLE = VAT Only
WHTxx = VAT + Withholding Tax (xx%)
Account:
Default Expense Account/Sub Account
Can be changed per AP before posting
You can change Stock / Non-Stock ID if required.
Note - Changing ID will update ALL transactions in system!
